The various "date codes" on Rozenburg (1883-1917) plateel; page 3 / 5
From June 1889 until July 1893 only use of the name "Rozenburg" as a mark.
always accompanied by the city name "den Haag", "Den Haag" or just simply "Haag"
Note:
The letters E till K indicate the (production) year codes.
A name such as "firmament" shows us that it was designed by Colenbrander.
Other markings such as the "hearts" is an personal decorator signature.
A numeral, on the other hand, indicates its production number.
Important !
In the last picture you can see a mark of later date, which is found on an "small" piece
(there was simply no room for a year code or the stork, which should be there).
however, there is a sign of approval in the form of a "window" , put on by D.P.J de Ruiter,
who was the head of painting from 15 August 1896 onwards, which help us to date this item.
